The cosy studio which can accomodate up to 4 people is equipped with 4K cameras and professional lighting as well as superb acoustic treatment and high end audio recording equipment, ready to bring your vision to life.
Whether you are a solo host or a roundtable crew, if you're conducting an interview or showcasing your talents to your audience, we can capture compelling video footage as well as crystal-clear sound. A cameraman and audio engineer will be present during the entire session allowing you to relax and focus on the great content within your podcast, making the most of your time in the studio.
Apart from the standard video and audio editing, we offer a large range of extra services should you wish to enhance your podcast giving you the ability to integrate it with personalised music, video & sound effects and graphics. We can also support you in creating customs intro and outros, host reads and sponsorship bumpers as required.

VOICE OVER RECORDING
During my years at Resolution Post House, I recorded the voice of leading artists in the industry such as Graham Norton, Dermot O'Leary, Gordon Ramsay, Nadia Sawalha, Ben Fogle among others.
The content worked on was produced was for a wide genre of programming and for a spectrum of commissioners. Examples include Top Gear, Big Brother, Strictly Dance Fever, Faking It, Wife Swap, The F-Word, Rock School, Missing, Project Catwalk, Commando VIP, East Enders Revealed, The Games, Unteachable, IF, Make Me a Supermodel, Extreme TV, A Place In the Sun, New Ten Commandments, Coach Trip, Mirror Signal Manoeuvre and Living in the Sun.
Here at Slipway Studio I regularly tap into this extensive experience, having most recently recorded Voice Over for a wide variety of content including the Channel 5 series 'Holiday Homes In The Sun' with Amanda Lamb and Sam Pinkham, the Discovery+ series 'Saved And Remade', the Channel 4 series "A Place in the Sun: What Happened Next?' with Amanda Lamb and BBC's 'The One Show' with Michelle Ackerley.
In addition, we regularly record commercials and onboard announcements for airlines such as British Airways, and have recently produced dialogue replacement (ADR) for the forthcoming docudrama 'Mary Queen Of Scots'.

AUDIOBOOK RECORDING
Over the years we have recorded a number of audiobooks, recording the narrator with our state-of-the-art recording chain: Neumann U87 (condenser microphone) - Neve 1073 (microphone preamplifier and EQ) -1176LN (compressor).
Every audiobook production is different and the final duration of recording needed can vary based upon the narrator’s pacing and the nature of the script. Generally it is feasable to record 80-100 pages in a full-day session.
After the recording is finished we can either deliver the audio files of the raw un-edited recording to the client in the favorite format - or we can start the post production process where we edit the raw recording by removing all the misreads or mispronounced words and extraneous noises such as loud breaths, mouth clicks and stomach rumbles.
After we have a clean and nicely paced read, we can mix and master it using a combination of equalisation, compression and limiting in order to obtain a constant volume throughout. We can also add and mix in music and sound effects under the narrator if required.
